We fit solar panels across Liverpool and Merseyside. MCS certified team, been doing this for years. Free survey to see if your house is suitable. Proper job, fair prices.
Been fitting solar round here since about 2015. Started just doing Liverpool, now cover all of Merseyside and a bit beyond. Done everything from tiny terraces in Toxteth to massive houses out in Formby.
Always get the same questions: “Will it work on my roof?” and “How much?” Fair questions. That’s why we do free surveys – come have a look, tell you straight whether it’s worth doing or not.
Solar panel installations for houses. Proper installations, not bodge jobs. We’re MCS certified which means the work meets the standards and you get proper warranties.
Process is dead simple: ring us up, we come out and have a look at your roof for free. Takes about an hour. If it’s suitable, you get a quote. If you want to go ahead, we book you in and get it sorted.
Most jobs take a day. Occasionally two if the roof’s awkward or weather turns. We do all the paperwork – network applications, building control, warranties, the lot.
All over Liverpool obviously – done jobs in Aigburth, Allerton, Crosby, Garston, Mossley Hill, Wavertree, West Derby, Woolton, you name it.
Cover the whole of Merseyside really. Wirral – Bebington, Birkenhead, Heswall, West Kirby. St Helens and surrounding areas. Knowsley – Huyton, Kirkby, Prescot. Sefton – Bootle, Formby, Maghull, Southport.
Go a bit further out if the job’s big enough. Done a few in Warrington, Newton-le-Willows, that way.
If you’re not sure whether we cover your area, just ask.
Ring us up or drop us a message. We’ll arrange to come out and have a look. Don’t charge for surveys, never have.
I’ll measure up your roof, check your electrics, work out what size system you need. Tell you honestly whether solar’s worth doing on your house or not. Some aren’t – north-facing roofs, too much shade, that sort of thing.
If it looks good, you’ll get a quote emailed over that evening. Fixed price, includes everything you need.
Installation team turns up early, usually done by teatime. They’re all qualified electricians, MCS certified, know what they’re doing. Clean up after themselves too.
System gets tested, connected to the grid, all the monitoring sorted. You get login details to track how much you’re generating.
MCS certified – that’s the industry standard. Means the work’s done properly and you get proper warranties. Also means you qualify for the Smart Export Guarantee payments.
Local team who’ve been doing this for years. Not some national company with a call centre. You deal with the same people from start to finish.
Fixed prices, no hidden costs. What we quote is what you pay. No “oh, we found an extra problem” nonsense on installation day.
Proper equipment from decent manufacturers. German panels, quality inverters, mounting systems that won’t blow off in the first gale.
Most people want straightforward solar panels to cut their electric bills. That’s what we mainly do.
Also fit battery storage if you want to store some of the electricity for later use. Handy if you’re out all day but want to use your solar power in the evening.
Do EV charging points too. Makes sense if you’ve got solar and an electric car.
Heat pumps as well, though that’s a bigger job. Air source heat pumps work well with solar panels.
Solar hot water systems occasionally. Not as popular as they used to be but still worth considering for some houses.
Had a customer in West Derby last month – “Best decision we made. Bills are half what they used to be and the installation was spot on.”
Someone in Formby – “Professional job, no mess, system working exactly as promised.”
Crosby customer – “Realistic about what to expect, no overselling. Happy with the service.”
Don’t believe everything you read in online reviews mind. Some companies pay for fake ones. We rely on word of mouth mostly.
No obligation, no pressure. Come out, have a look, give you honest advice.
Check your roof – condition, which way it faces, any shading problems. Look at your electrics to make sure everything’s compatible. Work out what size system would suit your usage.
Give you realistic figures for what you’ll generate and save. None of this pie-in-the-sky nonsense some companies come out with.
Takes about an hour, costs you nothing.
Stands for Microgeneration Certification Scheme. It’s the industry standard for renewable energy installations.
Means we’re properly qualified, insured, follow the right procedures. Your installation will meet the standards and you get manufacturer warranties.
Also means you qualify for export payments when you send surplus electricity back to the grid.
Without MCS certification, you don’t get warranties and can’t claim export payments. Worth checking any installer you’re considering is properly certified.
Our lads are qualified electricians with MCS certification. Been doing solar installations for years. Know the local planning rules, building regs, all that.
All installations comply with BS 7671 electrical standards. Structural work meets building regs. We handle all the notifications and applications.
Use quality kit – tier 1 solar panels with 25-year warranties, decent inverters, proper mounting systems designed for British weather.
Liverpool gets about 1,200 hours of sunshine yearly. Not Spain, but decent enough for solar.
Typical 4kW system generates 3,400-3,700 units annually. That’s enough to cover 60-80% of most households’ electricity.
Summer months are obviously better than winter. July might generate 400+ units, January maybe 80-90. Over the year it averages out.
Export payments currently about 15p per unit. If you’re sending 1,200 units back to the grid yearly, that’s £180 in your pocket.
Want to know if solar’s worth doing on your house? Give us a shout and we’ll come have a look.
Free survey, honest advice, no pressure. If it’s not suitable, we’ll tell you. If it is, you get a proper quote.
Been doing this long enough to give you realistic expectations. No overselling, no underselling. Just straight answers about what solar can do for your house.
Solar panels don’t need much looking after once they’re up. Give them a wash occasionally if they’re getting mucky. Check they’re generating what they should.
Inverters last 10-12 years typically. When they need replacing, costs about £700-800. Predictable expense you can budget for.
We provide ongoing support for all our installations. Any problems, warranty claims, monitoring questions – just give us a ring.
Most residential solar doesn’t need planning permission. Falls under permitted development rights.
Conservation areas and listed buildings might need permission. Some modern estates have covenants against solar panels.
We know the local planning situation, deal with all the councils regularly. Will tell you what’s needed after the survey.
North-facing roofs – waste of time and money.
Really shaded roofs where trees or buildings block most of the sun.
If you’re planning to move house in the next couple of years.
Electric bills under £500 yearly – payback takes too long.
If you’re renting – need landlord permission and won’t benefit long term.
