Air Source Heat Pump: £7,500
Ground Source Heat Pump: £7,500
Who Can Apply for the BUS Grant?
You ARE Eligible If:
- Your property is in England or Wales
- You own the property (or are a private landlord)
- You have a valid EPC (no older than 10 years)
- Your EPC shows no loft or cavity wall insulation recommendations (or you've had them done)
- You're replacing a fossil fuel heating system (gas, oil, LPG, coal, electric)
- Installation is by an MCS certified installer
You Are NOT Eligible If:
- Your property is a new build
- You're a social housing landlord
- You're replacing an existing heat pump
- Your property is in Scotland (separate Home Energy Scotland scheme)
- You've already received a BUS grant at this property
How to Apply
- Get a valid EPC for your property (if you don't have one)
- Contact an MCS certified installer like Greentech Renewables
- We'll assess your property and provide a quote
- We apply for the grant on your behalf
- Grant is deducted from your installation cost
Note: You don't apply directly—your MCS installer applies on your behalf.
